For urine: Test the first and second urine of the day, and write down the average result. To perform a test, dip a pH strip into the urine stream, shake off any excessive fluid, and wait for 15 seconds before reading your pH result.

For saliva: Wait for two hours after eating. Spit some saliva into a spoon, dip a pH strip into the saliva, and wait for 15 seconds before reading your pH result.

Results: pH 7.0+ is an excellent result, pH 6.5 is an acidic result, and pH below 6.0 constitutes a very acidic result. To gain an average result, perform 2 – 3 tests a day, each day lengthening the time between tests. To read your result, compare the color chart to your test strip reading.

Important! Replace the bottle cap immediately after removing a strip and close securely. Do not touch the test pads on the end of the strip. Keep in a cool and dry place. For in-vitro diagnostic use only.
